Dr. Jeff Grudin graduated from the University of California at DavisSchool of Veterinary Medicine in June of 1980. While at UCD, he trained in small and exotic animal medicine and surgery. This included working with many species of animals at the Sacramento zoo. Since completing his training at UCDavis, Dr. Grudin has been in private practice working with small animals and exotic pets.Dr. Grudin and Max He is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association, and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians.

Continuing education is a number one priority. Dr. Grudin spends many hours each year attending intensive courses to keep current. In addition to formal continuing education programs, Dr. Grudin consults daily via the internet with over 1700 other veterinarians and health professionals in a group called Vetprof. The Vetrof mailing list provides an electronic forum for veterinarians, physicians, and professionals in related fields to consult on topics of interest in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Grudin has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, hiking, camping and playing music.
